Brand-New Mazda CX-9 is the first model to feature Mazda’s new 2.5-litre direct-injection turbocharged petrol engine, SKYACTIV-G 2.5T, delivering an unparalleled level of sporty performance in a family SUV.
The engine features world-first turbo technology that overcomes the usual limitations of a turbocharged engine: turbo-lag and poor fuel economy. By taking full advantage of the exhaust energy throughout the RPM range, SKYACTIV-G 2.5T delivers 420 Nm of torque at just 2000 rpm, and 170 kW of power at 5,000 rpm, giving CX-9 effortless acceleration with superb responsiveness. All of this while achieving outstanding fuel economy.
